Hi guys, so I ordered the cruise control after watching a video on how to do it, seemed fairly simple, but I took off the airbag to find out the truck is not pre wired for it, is there anything I can do or am I shit outta luck ? It’s a 201046956C86-B259-475D-907A-F168D26282BB.jpg

Most trucks are prewired, that doesn't help much

Did you also buy the harness for it or did it come with one? It replaces that four pin one and plugs into the CC stalk and a ground for the airbag.

Did you unplug the four pin that grounded the air and replace it with the new one that connects to the stalk? It should also have a ground on it for the airbag

Wait so I unplug the pin that’s currently in place and put in the new one ? I figured the pin currently in there was for the airbag

But yeah that’s the exact wire I have, but in the videos there’s an extra slot for it which I don’t have

First you want to disconnect the battery to safely do this!!! Then you disconnect the old four pin and plug the new four pin in which should connect to the CC stalk and airbag ground and you are set!

If this works you’re a legend, idk why but I thought that was more than a ground. Gonna give it a shot tomorrow and hopefully it doesn’t explode on me

For anyone wondering I spent a whopping 11 dollars on my set up. It didn’t come with the ground so what I did was took the old ground, got it out of the connector and added it to the new connector and boom done
