I have somewhat of a unique story for how my Tacoma came into my life. I bought it at an auction this past summer for a very cheap price. It is salvaged and it came with no wheels, no battery, no stereo, no speakers, and a lot of other "minor" problems (not engine related) that I had to learn the hard way about. The biggest issue being the smell.

Fast forward through a lot of cleaning and junk yard trips, and it's my daily. There are only a few things in this world that make me smile the way my red pick up does. The first generation 4x4 tacoma has always been my DREAM truck. I really wanted it to be a manual transmission, but I have grown to accept my automatic and the extra pair of doors it comes with (lol).

I'm here because I want to learn how to better my truck and make it uniquely my own. I am very new to working on cars but have been reading up a lot these past few months.. so please bare with me.

Thank you! I can’t take all of the credit, my dad has done so much. He’s the master mind and I’m just the student! Unfortunately I live 500 mi away from him so I am now self teaching lol...

Welcome! Sounds like you’ve already done quite a bit of wrenching to get it to this point.
