Thank you.....nicest buck ive ever shot. We had such a fun year hunting. I bought a 52 acre farm last year and it was amazing to harvest a deer like this. I processed the meat myself and a very good friend did the mount for me. We are very thankful for the meat and we always make sure these animals dont die in vain. They feed our families. White tail deer are beautiful animals.

Well, season is over on public land. Can still hunt til 1/13 on private land. But, this guy has survived public land for another year, but this picture is from private land, so there’s still time for someone to get him. I hope he makes it out. He’s been running in the same area I killed the one on Christmas Day and my dad killed the 7 point the week before:

it was all over December 1st for me. First strike out. I'm thinking about changing up my game plan next year. Was still nice to be away from work and sitting in the woods instead.

This guy is hanging out at my house. He could be a good deer if he can make it til next year. He’s the 4th 8 point to show up at my house (about 20 yards off my back porch) this season. I haven’t seen the other 3 in months...and have heard some gunshots pretty close by.
