Does anyone have access to commercial sat imagery? TerraServer use to have decent update timing, but stopped their limited free access. I tried the tax assessor imagery, but it is almost 2 years old and doesnt show what I want to see.

This is from the GIS system that the county tax office links to. Shows the first stage of the driveway in the r.o.w./easement, but does not show the area I cleared onto the property.
I dont plan to develope it much more than it is now, but I will be setting stuff up to make camping out there more comfortable for myself or whoever wants a place to park for a night or two in the middle of nowhere.

I have Garmin Birds Eye for my GPS but I don't think it's any better than Google Earth.

You might contact your property appraiser office and ask when their next flights will be made and published. Our county is done annually because of hurricane risk, so there can be post storm assessments done based on fairly current data. Rural areas are unlikely to have that.

Sometimes aerial photography firms also work for power companies, pipeline companies, DOTs and other cross country interests. If theres anything like that in the area, contacting that organization may get you something.

Could a drone get you your shots of interest? I've seen some pretty high stuff now being used by real estate firms to develop marketing material for waterfront, golf course and high rise properties.

Yeah, Google is an older picture before I got the entrance cleared.
Tax assessor office says it gets done every year, but that appears to be incorrect. They couldnt tell me exactly when it will get updated.
Drone would work, and is something I have thought about. Just need a calm day when the jets arent out there flying.
