Took a look under my Tacoma because of loud screeching sound that would come and go while turning and noticed the grease on the lbj on both the driver and passenger side. Installed a lift about 2 weeks ago. 885 with bilstein 5100s on the 4th setting. Icon add a leaf pack with 5100s in the rear on 285/70/17s. Torqued everything down at time of install and again after 100 miles and got an alignment on it as well. Kinda stunned that this is happening since I’ve only had it for under 2 years with 29k miles. Any advice/input besides the obvious ( changing the lbj this week) would be greatly appreciated.

The 885, and the other alike 886,887,etc coils are only to be installed at 1st notch. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th notches are for stock coils. To much preload is causing ball joint failure.

Thanks @na8rboy I still have my stock coils on the side, If I were to swap them with the 885s, how different would the ride be ?

That I couldn't help you with. Maybe someone else could chime in on that. Just know that 885's on 4th notch is pushing you to high, which is causing your problem.
