My truck (2010 DCLB 4x4) failed the frame recall and I will be getting a new frame shortly. As part of the install, the dealer is willing to put on new parts if I supply them without charging additional labor costs. I am looking to upgrade my current Bilstein 5100/AAL setup to support the added weight of a FWC Fleet camper (which I have yet to buy). FWC recommends the Firestone Airbag system to supplement whatever suspension is on the truck. The main question now is, what is the best upgrade option for $3k-ish or less? I am currently running BFG AT 265/70/17s with about an inch and a half of lift, but would also like to upgrade the tires to a larger size soon, but I'd like to stay under 3" of lift. In an ideal world, I'd like to just buy a package from a reputable company that will keep it simple. I've been looking at kits from Old Man Emu and Icon. I suspect Bilstein has an option that could work as well, but their site doesn't make it clear. I don't need a rock crawler or racing suspension - just something that will work well for 95% highway, 5% rough trails. Any suggestions?

I would google fwc on tacoma builds or call fwc and or adventure trailers in prescott az and or check out expo portal tons of info and get the correct set up. I looked at fwc and would like to have one but I determinded it might be a bit heavy for my 2014 dcsb. good luck and keep us posted
