SOOOOOOOOO.... I'm terrible at keeping this here build thread up to date and I guess I might as well update it and keep it up to date for a while or as much as possible.

In terms of wheeling, there's only been 3 trips that I've been on since; one to Slick Rock and another to Bald Mountain.

Slick Rock was back in mid October and it was only for a day trip. Ran the trail from Utica to the winch hill and back.

About a week later my Dad, brother and myself did a bit of a boys trip to the back side of the Rubicon out to the top of Cadillac Hill. Took a few photos with our phones, but nothing really worth posting. Trip was more to meant as just a fun trip to ourselves.

Now come early November, I join a TW trip to Bald Mountain. Ended up being a super fun trip.

More messing out with night time photography, slowly learning but I'll get somewhere eventually.

Trip-wise, that's about it. Looking forward to 2019 since I'm definitely going to try and get out more. Should be a fun year of trips.

No new modifications as of late, but I did get the chance to put some 35s on the old girl today, so my temptation to get 35s is back, but definitely no time soon.

Though I will say, the next mod to the truck is a big one, but you guys will have to wait and see since I'm still waiting on parts. :spy: But I guess as teaser, 2019 is the year of performance mods.

35's look so sick at that height. I wish it was that easy to fit them... :pout:

Why do 35s have to be such a pain. If only you didn't have to cut the hell out of your truck, possibly lift higher or install better bump stops sacrificing flex, and re-gear, it would be my number one stop. The 33s/34s I'm getting will have to do for awhile but your picture, even though I have a 3rd gen, tempt me a lot.

    You're telling me. :pout:

I've hear +3.5" LT makes it so you don't have to do much besides cut the fenders for clearance, but I don't have that sort of money just sitting around. 3rd gens have a much easier time fitting 35s; cab mount chop, cut the fenders for clearance, and massage the firewall. I'm definitely with you in wishing it wasn't just a matter of cutting everything out of the way. :pout:

Alright, Ill have to remember that. Put that in my build list. Fuck, up to two pages of links/items. How is it having the 15" rims with the 33s. Thinking of going with a 285/75/17 but wouldn't mind going for a smaller rim. The struggle...

Ha! The never ending list of mods begins. :stirthepot:

Wish I went with 16s instead of 15s. With as heavy as much truck is, having the ability to install the Tundra brakes would be great. As for the 3rd Gen, you can't run 15s because of the size of the brakes.

Yeah, I was looking at 16s before a lot of people started talking about 17s. 17s just look like they take up a lot of the tire. I think a little sleep would help with this decision too lol. I've got about a month before I need to pull the trigger.

I had the TC +2 race kit and only had to trim fenders, notch/pound back pinch weld and cab mount chop it. Super easy, took me maybe an hour not including the cmc

Only about a 1/2" difference between the two when it comes to sidewall. Either will do you just fine. I prefer the smaller rims for more sidewall, but that's just me.

Meant more for the 1st Gens, but yea, 2nd and 3rd gens have it pretty easy when it comes to 35s.

The fun upgrade is in the mail and 2 parts to the puzzle are now sitting in the garage AND I still have to order 2 more things before hand. :spy: Upgrading a radiator however was not the plan right now. :bananadead:

A bigger radiator and cooler thermostat would help with a supercharger.
