    New member here. I just made the switch to Toyota a couple weeks ago. I’ve been driving Fords for the past 28yrs, and still love them. I made the switch to Toyota because of how many miles I put on my vehicles for work, and because of their resale value. I bought a used 2016 Tacoma double cab with low miles. So far I really like the truck, but I have to admit that I am missing the power and torque of my F150 with the 5.0 in it. I’ve given up 100hp and 120tq with this Tacoma, so I’m hoping the resale value makes up for that in the long run.

    Welcome to TW. Ford makes a great machine. There's a reason they didn't take a big dip during the recession. There's also a reason why they sell more trucks than the other American brands and don't necessarily have the cheapest prices.

    That being said, Toyota will do you well if you're looking for Resale value and Longevity. Welcome to the family.
