Only a few miles on 1.05, but so far so good. I am noticing a quicker(shorter) shift into 2nd & 3rd. Not a big deal just My observations. I just really hope mat found a way to disable the learning. It was supposed to do that on 1.03, 1.04 but after a few k miles I found it back in its old sluggish habits on those versions. Great job OV

 

Ya I saw it, was just messing with you. Think you'll be happy with 1.05 and want to keep the taco.

 

This is my 3rd version of 1.05. Hopefully.

So I take it the consensus is that it's better to flash 1.05 after having warmed the vehicle up to operating temperature? Saw a few posts of people mentioning this but I didn't do that with 1.04R, flashed cold before.

 

Like I said, it was supposed to be disabled in the other versions too(or at least “reset to relearn everytime the truck was started”) but I know for a fact it started defaulting back to OE retard mode. None of us have put that many miles on 1.05 to really make the conclusion.
