So randomly sometimes without engine light coming on it will slip gears or feel jerky, the check light has come on three times in two months. I have 200900 miles on tranny and 1000 on motor and I am positive its the lock solenoid. Some garages say wait until its once weekly, change if its unreliable to go 40 plus miles, also two said once it has been changed and tranny has been altered then problems arise more often. I have all 3 solenoids and its only 100 to change it but need to go once a month 1:45 back and forth once a month and am worried that if I do ill be broke down so I haven't done it yet in taco. Should I change it?

also, fuse for turn signal is constantly blowing when lights are turned on and just replaced headlights but only two kinds available so what do I do for that?
