Hello Tacoma owners I am new member. I have a question can I pull a 800 lb. Waverunner while carrying a 1600 pound truck camper. I understand the Toyota Tacoma can pull almost 6000 pounds and my load capacity is 1600 pounds I just would like to know if someone has an answer to my question. Thanks.

i might be mistaken but I have very strong doubts you can legally put a 1600 lb camper on your Tacoma. Looking on Toyotas specs for these trucks the max load for a DCLB 4x4 is about 1200 lbs. a short Box is less. I don't want to start a pissing match but you need to look on your door jamb for your GVWR and then go weigh your truck with a full tank of fuel .

The truck can physically do it but you are going to be way over the GVWR, probably by close to 1000lbs. The payload rating includes all cargo, passengers and trailer tongue weight.
