The dongle-less and pre-TSB M/T guys especially. They got none of the 1.05 fairy dust/unicorn pewp that Mat mentioned earlier.

No, that's not me.

 

Everybody seems to have their opinion of it. Most factory exhausts I've seen the resonator goes between the muffler and end of the exhaust. I've spent a decent amount of effort trying to get rid of the exhaust drone between 1800 and 2400rpm (5th gear highway rpm range). After I get more miles in with 1.05 maybe it won't be a big deal anymore.

 

Ive been running the 2nd release of 1.05 since Matt uploaded it and while I enjoyed a lot of things about it, I felt it raced to the higher gears too quickly just like stock did. But highway driving was excellent.
I always double check the ECU version after a flash and I verified I was on OVT10587 even though parts of the tune felt more or less like the TSB version. Was about 400 miles in and while it settled in a bit, the drivability still didn't quite match everyone else's experience including Matt's.

I just flashed the 3rd release from yesterday and this truck drives soooo much better! MPGs are instantly better than anything I've gotten before and it drives as smooth as everyone else is raving about.

I know there were only minor tweaks between the 2nd and 3rd revisions of 1.05 but this one is money for my truck. Gear shifts are right where I like them and it just feels like the truck isn't working as hard as before. Great job @OVTune !

Got the email this morning, flashed, idled 10 mins. Wasn't able to go for much of a drive, but ya......1.05 is pretty awesome. Thanks Mat @OVTune !

Going to get the accumulator delete done as well. Bought a line bender (it was cheap) and a set of metric, articulated flare nut wrenches. Any excuse to buy tools!
