    Yeah, I'm curious also. It's only lower thigh height at the water crossing at the springs, and I was there Xmas day til 3. Probably the WC at Sheep's bridge... Or the two to get to the back side of Sheep's bridge. All three have been mid-thigh height when I've crossed them. And the water level seems equal to those days.
    "When in doubt, walk it out". If the water touches my man-parts I don't cross. That's my rule.

    Yeah especially if the water is acidic or alkaline. Then it gets to be a real big bitch. The Verde is heavily alkaline certain parts of the year from what I've been told.
    Hell. It's such a murky river with typically 8" of visibility, another reason to not drive through it.

    On electrical components. Because the dissolved salt contents contribute to the conductivity of the water. And water being water with it's penetrational nature. Big ol beyeotch.
