I have my old one from the early 90's still that works great. I did buy 4 or 5 last year on clearance for gifts, just haven't given any out yet. I did try one and it didn't keep the coffee as hot but, to be fair, I didn't pre heat it. But it is noticeably lighter so there is a difference. But, since I used it I'll hang on to it and give out the others over time. Occasionally I'll take 2 Thermos's of coffee to work on the colder days that I know are also going to be longer days. I also have a couple for food with the wide mouths that are newer. They work ok but don't seem to keep food very hot after 4 or 5 hours. If I end up doing a late meal in the field it won't be as warm as I'd like it but still better than hitting up the fastfood joints.

Gotta pre heat with microwave boiling water. I know there are better products out there. Just kinda attached to the old stuff, sentimental.

Can't you get them from their website? The caps, o-rings and cups should be the same.

I boil it on the stove. Seems to me like whatever I heat in a microwave only hold the heat for as long as it took to heat it...unless it's a burrito. Then the damn thing is molten lava with a frozen center

Yes, they have you give them all the info, then they get back to you. I used to just buy them at the store I bought them at. But they don’t carry the replacement parts anymore.

Those old school small town hardware and gun shops were great for that stuff. Now they all have that electronic inventory and only stock the bigger turnover items.

Since today actually feels warm enough .... 65° I started up the Camaro and drove it around . Must of drove it for 45 min and the longest it's been driven in a few months

It actually felt good driving it around today and while I was out saw some other muscle cars and street rods being exercised

Can't wait to get that 406sbc built and hopefully the Race engine shop can start building it by the end of January !!!!!!

It just sucks the way things in retail have gone. I try to support, but they have all gone. Even the annual trip to Cabelas doesn’t get done anymore since Bass Pro bought them. To much junk.
