    Hello Everyone,
Looking for some input on installing a 1” body lift or should I go with a susupension lift? I am looking for the additional clearance for wheels slightly bigger than the stock and I am figuring since the truck came with bilstein shocks why not continue to use them or would be best to invest into aftermarket 2” suspension lift? I have downloaded the instructions for the body lift which are for a 2005-2015 Taco and wondering how simalar would it be for a 2018?

Aftermarket suspension is the way to go.

I took the (PO installed) 3" body lift out of my '97 because it looked and drove like shit. What a PITA. I would never do a body lift.

I wouldn't do a body lift if you plan on installing any aftermarket bumpers or armor. Unless you can fab relocation brackets, but you're going to weaken their support.
