Less then? $80 for the bezel, no garnish required.

Correct. It was $73 and tss functions fully without the garnish. I got lucky that this grill came with the letters all attached together and just needed 4 screws to attach it to the main grill. No goofy double sided tape or having to attach letters, just 2 separate pieces that attached with 4 screws. The TOYOTA was all together and attached.

Well sir, I stand corrected and that was a good deal. I’ve only read about people having issues without the garnish. Good to know.

Sounds like I was fortunate as many have had issues with the lettering, the screws or the sensors. I’ll take some luck here and there.

o_O How do you figure you stuck a nerve? You said you didn't want to look like a wannabe pro - I explained to you how the grille doesn't do that.

Putting Pro emblems on would be a wannabe. Putting a grille on that says "Toyota" is not being a wannabe pro. Nothing about the grille distinguishes the truck as being a Pro - especially because like half the non-pro's on the road have the grille also.

I think most, not all but most Taco owners and general Taco admirers would agree the Pro grille is the best looking grille for the 3rd gens...

I agree 100%. No need for people to get offended. Lots of options out there and it would be pretty boring if there were no alternatives.
