Has anyone mounted 6" light bars either behind or under the grille on a 3rd gen? I've done quite a bit of searching but can't find any brackets or mounting options. I have a set of Diode Dynamics 6" bars that were a part of a WRX kit that I would like to mount on my 2018.

Only info I have ever seen is for the 30" bars, I am also interested in mounting a smaller bar up front, as I have no need for a bar that large.

I have two, 10” bars mounted in my lower bumper that surround my license plate. Bought a piece of aluminum and made a bracket to join the two bars together as support. The other ends of the bars are mounted to a set of stealth brackets I purchased from Rago.

That's another option I'll look into... Is it fairly stable or do you get wobble?

No wobble at all for what I did. I made the bracket to mount the two together longer than needed to prevent the wobble.

Hey, any chance you have pictures of the aluminum you used to join the lights? I have a set of mounts, but I'm not sure how to go about connecting and supporting the lights.

I don’t since everything is behind my bumper. I just bought a flat bar similar to the one below

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...m-Flat-Bar-with-1-8-in-Thick-801927/204274000

I think mine was 3” wide. I measured the distance between the two light bars and cut the aluminum to fit. Marked out where the two light bars met the aluminum bar. Drilled the holes in the aluminum bar and then mounted the light bars to the aluminum bracket I made.

Alright thanks. I'll see what I can figure out. Might almost be worth it to just get a bar..
