All Pro Expo Leaf Pack: Popping and Knocking after install?

So I just finished install, and it seems like there is a lot of popping and knocking from the leaf pack when cycling the suspension. I don't really see any contact points unless it's within the hanger or overload wrap.

I torqued the U-Bolts to 80 ft-lbs

I torqued the hanger and leaf spring bolts to 90 ft-lbs per the Tacoma FSM.

Any ideas?

 

Did you put the shackle bolts in backwards? This happened to me when I did my dakars when I was rushing last minute, an I had the same issues you describe.

 

Nope. Installed those bolts in the correct orientation.

 

Perhaps your shocks are to short an bottoming outclueless now since everything is torqued or maybe a bushing in the wrong spot on top of shock causing bolt to move around.

 

The rear shocks are icon extended travel so I dont think they're bottoming out. I'll drive on them a bit more, see if stuff settles or there are contact Mark's somewhere.
