Just wondering if the coils are the same on the SR5 as the TRD Off Road...thanks in advance!

As far as I know, the TRD Off Road has progressive rate springs and the SR5 and Limited are linear. The OR springs are softer, but stiffen up as you go through the suspension travel. Makes it a little softer on small bumps, but prevents bottoming on larger hits. SR5 should be the same rate all the way through its suspension travel.

I don’t think there’s a difference in actual suspension travel numbers or ride height between the two.

Thanks for the info! I am switching out my shocks to the Bilstein 4600s, and I was planning to use my current coils. Any problem you foresee with that?

I wouldn’t think so, but I’m by no means an expert. Plenty of folks swap out their shocks for Bilstein 5100’s and use stock coils without issue, so I don’t see why there would be a problem. The 4600’s are the stock TRD OR shocks, so you may be able to find some take offs in the for sale section. Get the coils and all and it should be a pretty easy swap.

Looks like the OR has different coils:
