Can you just pick that thing up and place it into the bed of your truck? They look so small and light..

Probably too small for freeway riding, right?
I have a 5mile freeway commute, the rest is on the street lol.

I got mine to 70 mph once going down a huge ass hill... you’ll be fine.

I’m kidding - I wouldn’t commute on the highway even one mile on my grom. I would be looking for a more suitable ride. If you like small(er) bikes maybe the duke 390?

I would actually love a duke390 but I’m trying to buy a used bike for cheap. My commute has changed drastically and I’m finally starting to feel the Cali gas prices lol.

In stock form I wouldn't really go on the highway for long stretches. But once you add some go-fast bits, it's fine. I can keep up with traffic(and even pass) on my Grom. But then again, it goes 95MPH:bikewheelie:

Reviving this thread because I just got a grom to build - let’s see some more small bore beasts!

@MESO not going to lie, your build was one that got me looking at groms in the first place.

I'm a grom early adopter, I bought the first one in my area, way back when. Not much modding, just Ohlins front and rear and a six-pack rack. I'd be interested in how y'all tied yours down in the back of a 5-ft tacoma bed.
