Have a great night, gentlemen and @4x4_angel. It’s a party if you make it home safe, it’s a police report otherwise.

hoping someone can give me some insight. In March, I’ll have my truck for 6 years. Unfortunately since I don’t drive it much, it’s a little difficult to determine maintenance. Right now, I only have 16,300 miles on it. What type of maintenance do you guys recommend to be done other than the standard yearly oil changes (synthetic) that I do? I was thinking doing a differential flush and transmission flush, but not sure on other things? Any help is appreciated.

Rear diff drain and refill is super easy. Transmission flush may be unnecessary due to the low miles, but certainly wouldn't hurt. A little pricey if done at the dealership. You can do a drain and refill, but it would take several times to get all of the fluid swapped out unless you drop the pan. There's also writeups about disconnecting the trans cooler lines and pumping in new fluid through the lines, but it's not foolproof. You can buy test strips for coolant and brake fluid (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0753MZT7P/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_9qalCbN0N0D4E) if you want to check and see if those should also be replaced. Brake fluid attracts water and that's what makes the fluid look dark. Coolant can be the wrong mix or get more acidic over the years. Inspect/replace your engine air filter and cabin air filters. Check all your suspension components; shocks, ball joints, tie rods, suspension bolts and rear u bolts. Grease the zerks on the driveshaft. Top off the windshield washer fluid and keep on driving it!
