What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The SSO slimline bumper will interfere with most hidden light bar mounts. However, I don't think the bull bar will obscure it much. If you intend on installing a winch, it definitely won't fit.

Got my bumper covers back on anyone that has taken them off had any luck putting back the bumper cap cleat on the upper tab can’t get my hand back there to put it back on

 

The window nets are baaaaad ass

 

Some people leave them off. I somehow managed to get mine back on but it took some time.

Did you wire it to reverse lights or to a switch in the cab?

 

It’s not wired yet but it will eventually be wired to a switch in the cab. We don’t want them coming on with the reverse lights and blinding people as we back out of a parking space.

 

Installed my new Gasshole. Used a #2 Philips bit with a 1/4" drive ratchet and held it aligned in position carefully. Off and on easily.

 

Is there any replacement red yoter emblems /cruize radar thingie - as opposed to the chrome one in a 19????

 

You could view it as theft protection, but this is NOT a remote start thing, this is a Toyota logic/circuit, all 3X remote starts irregardless of brand will do this, it’s not on my end nor within any remote starter manufacturers abilities to change from a software standpoint. If I could I would if legally allowed because I couldn’t sell these in the US market if they werent National Highway Saftey & Transportation approved/validated devices. So I may know a wiring way around but I won’t be the one to share that because I can be held responsible for “tampering” even if it’s your hands but my instructions. I have a business to run unfortunately so I can’t risk anything outside my hardware and software limitations and capabilities so I hope you can understand, it is NOT me, but Toyota. Now why Toyota lets hkey getaway it with boggles my mind.

 

Unless the thief knows this and drives straight to the chop shop...

 

Probably should have posted along the way of the build but here it is.
Picked it up aug 17th. This is my first brand new vehicle and what a good choice. First mod was the AC drain mod and some husky x-act liners Swapped out the chrome bezel for a black one. Also put on some running boards and tailgate inserts and debadged
Windows tinted and a trip up to Mt. Rainer.
Bought some old some new. Light and brackets from TW member, skid from dealer.
Installed skid, led reverse lights and some
GE’s Megalight Ultra +130 bulbs for the lows


Installed Meso turn signals
Got around to installing light bar along with AVS low profile vent guards
Some rekgen xl mud flaps
Order a lift and got all of it in- 5100s all four corners, 888 OME, DirtKing UCAs, icon aal, lean spacer, OME drive shave spacer and ECGS bushing
Picked out the Mickey Thompson’s sidebitter2 16” going to wrap them in falken wildpeaks atw3 265/75/16

Lift is on

 

Bakflip bed cover installed, whip and mount installed and got me a new tool box to keep everything organized under the bed.
