Bought a lift kit and wheels and tires. Couple touchy concerns.

So i bought 35" pro comp extreme all terrains on 18" fuel Gauge D505's and also a pro comp 6inch lift for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The lift took a while. (still not done, started it a week ago) Im only working on it a few hours a night. The rear is done and the front should be done today.

My 3 biggest concerns are........

1.) Broke the cam bolts. Had to get all new bushings and cam bolts for the front part of both sides of the control arms. No big deal, replaced them at Toyota dealership for 100 a side. Any tips on doing an alignment? or to get it somewhat close?

2.) The brake line extension bracket for the front caliper. Do you have to bent hard break lines in order to make it work?? I'm not sure if i feel comfortable doing that. I was going to buy a longer flexible line and put it in place of the other one. Good idea bad idea??

3.) Finished my rear end at 10:30 last night and wanted to put the wheels on to see what it looked like. Come to find out. The hub size is wrong!!! What do I do?? I bought them from 4wheel parts.com. I called to order them and they do not fit. I need something like 4 1/8 inches and the hole in the center of the hub is 3 1/2 inches.
Did the hub size change from at all on the 2nd generations? I told him the vehicle make and model and year. What do i do?

 

Man, no one has any advise? Can i get a half inch wheel spacer that will work to make them fit??

 

Make 4 wheel parts replace them with another wheel if they told you they would fit.

 

our hub size is 106mm, make 4wp replace your wheels with one that fits. I dont think you should bend the hard lines, extended brake lines should work

 

I called 4wheelparts today and they told me they would not take back wheels that are mounted. Even if they mounted them!! What is that BS?? I am calling first thing monday morning to talk to a supervisor. I spent wayyy to much money for them not to work with me to fix this problem. What sucks is i have been anticipating this day and its a shot in the you know what.

 

I am no where close to a 4wheelparts store either. I live in NH.

 

Im gunna try my best on monday to have them change it.

 

I wish i knew that before. I would rather spend a little more money and deal locally than do this. I guess i learned my lesson

 

How can u even mount a wheel with too small of a hub bore?!

That sucks and is grounds for legal action if they were responsible for giving up the wrong wheel
