All the major manly ones--you know like inside LED lights and bed Tacoma badge inlay.
    Hi there,

Long time listener (lurker), first time caller (account/poster). OK, perhaps not that long of a time lurker, but I've been lurking TW for about a month now after purchasing my new (to me) 3rd gen Tacoma (magnetic grey). I feel like I've now been to all the indoctrination seminars. I've completed all the super manly/pro modifications like LED interior lights and the matte black tailgate TACOMA insert. My taco is basically a beast now. /s

Now I have a real question. I did put effort into trying to find the answer to my specific question with no luck. With that said, I'm sure someone is going to link to a thread within 5 minutes of this post answering my question. If that happens, take it easy on me; I'm new and just little.

Question: Does a rear-view mirror replacement exist that will use the current power already going to the OEM rear-view mirror? I've seen that you can upgrade RVM to the homelink version with the garage doors, but I'm wondering if a dashcam RVM exists that could take advantage of the power already there?,

This isn't to say that it would even be a good idea or that separate dashcam setups are superior (I'm sure it may not be and they probably are), I'm just curious if this is theoretically possible and/or available?

    Thanks,

    DrDan

I'd be surprised if there wasn't one. Dashcams are a must IMO; saved me $$ when I ran into a Big Horn Sheep near Yellowstone NP.
