Whew, thank goodness I don't have to trade for a BMW now that people I don't know are saying good things and it sells a lot.

 

Almost a quarter of a million in a year. That's a lot of tacos.

Meanwhile Ridgeline might not break 30k in a year. It's good for it's niche but I wonder how long they want to keep making them when the market will only get tougher with the new Ranger releasing in a matter of weeks, Jeep Gladiator next year, Frontier redesign in 2020 and Dodge may jump back into the market in 2-3 years.

 

2018 is the best selling taco?

Well... I'm one of the statistic since I did pick up a 2018 taco myself.

 

No problem. Automotive forums can be quite informative, but also extremely derogatory. Sometimes it’s tough to sift through it all without fearing the worst. I usually find some sense of peace in the warranty in the event something goes goes wrong.

 

Looks like the 4 Runner sold well for the year too, they don't have to rush any redesigns

Yeah, I noticed that as well. It’s amazing how long in the tooth Toyota’s designs can be, yet still sell well. The 4Runner has its niche, for sure.

 

I never understood why people were happy to hear that their car/truck was the best seller that sold so many hundreds of thousands. Why is this good news?

 

It's actually terrible news lol. Means resale will probably take a hit in the future. Probably the only reason the Taco is on my #1 spot for next vehicle.
