hey all got my 2017 taco used. It has push button start. It only beeps when I hit the unlock button. This morning I noticed after I hit the lock button the back doors locked. However the front passenger door opened. Is there a setting to get the beep back and to reset the locks.

It should beep once when all the doors are shut and locked, after you hit the lock button. It should beep twice when you hit the unlock button. Are you saying you hit the lock button and it unlocks the front door?

No I hit the lock button no beeps. I tried to open the back doors they were locked. I then tried to open the front passenger door and it wasn’t locked.

It'll only beep when all the doors are shut and locked. One of your doors probably isn't shutting properly.

That definitely sounds weird too. On my truck 1 push locks all doors. When unlocking mine is set to unlock front door 1 push of button and 2 pushes unlock all doors. Can’t say for certain but I think holding both lock and unlock buttons at the same time activates/ deactivates the beep?
