so, I have never off-roaded before. I am from NC but head up to Windrock some for our daughter to race mountain bikes. we are coming up pretty soon again and I would love to find some easy trails/roads to try out in my Tacoma. I am completely new to this sort of thing so rock features are completely out for me. I wouldn't want to drive on very tight/narrow trails where trees could come into contact with my truck either. I don't mind it getting dirty, but scratched and dented up is not something I want to happen to it. I know, that might be me being picky, but this is my daily driver and I don't want it messed up. are there "easy" gravel road type stuff there that would be good for a stock suspension TRD Sport 4wd with Nitto Terra Grapplers? thanks in advance!

I wheel and MTB at Windrock quite often. Windrock is a dedicated off-road park and while it does have 'Green' off-road trails I wouldn't recommend leaving them. It sounds as if you're looking for forest roads. That is not Windrock; though G2 to the overlook would be a fun quick trip if you just wanted to get your truck dirty. Also you may consider the campground access road (by the general store). It is wide and but does have some mud and hill climbs

Also as you are probably aware it is a separate pass needed to offroad your truck at Windrock

yeah we know we would need a separate pass. no worries there. I have some buddies coming up with their Wranglers when we are going to be there. I am going to ride with them and get a lay of the land. I doubt I would take my truck on the stuff they will do. the GREEN trails are really more my thing as I have never "wheeled" before. I am totally new to it.
