    Hello TW!

About a year ago I got into a fender bender with my 3rd gen with the standard TSS pre-collission system with auto braking. It did not warn me or alert me or slow me down. I think I was below a speed (and perhaps distance) threshold as I was stopped completely and then accelerated into a right hand turn more aggressively than the sedan in front of me. IIRC I probably hit 10-15 mph tops (probably less, I don't really know). I suspect if I was going faster and farther away, the TSS would have activated.

After the stress settled, everyone was asking me, "Why didn't it stop for you?" And I am wondering the same. Just have this working theory, but wondering if TW members have any thoughts. Below is a link to the TSS Brochure for reference. Though it does mention speeds at 7 mph, which I might not have hit.

    Thanks
