I’m gonna be getting tires soon as well, upgrading to 4Runner pro wheels, also have a LROF 3+1 kit to throw on. The question for me is not if a 265/70/17 would fit (that’s what I’m looking at) it’s of that would essentially look too small

if you get an aggressive tread pattern tire, it won't look too small, but it will look smaller than say 285/70s. I was considering a 3/2 lift on mine to fit the 285/70s but have since decided against that. I have been told not to go that high since I don't plan to off road mine. I don't wanna the cab mount chop or any of that either. I wouldn't mind a small lift, but something that isn't irreversible. maybe 2/1 or something.

I'm running 265/75/16 Duratracs on 16", 0 offset, 4.5" backspacing rims on no lift. I've had zero rubs on/off-road.
