2018 Tacomabeast Halo light won’t turn on

    Halo light won’t turn on
    Can someone please help me I am trying to install the tacomabeast ligths and the Galo light won’t turn on? It’s a 2018 Tacoma I connected everything but the halo light won’t turn on??

    Welcome to the forum. Not fimilar with those but are they led? Did you try reversing the connector?

    Those lights look pretty iffy.

    LED int lights, Morimoto HID lows, Philips LED fogs
    Not familiar either with what OP has, but usually automotive electrical connectors are keyed to prevent reverse polarity issues. I would be surprised if this is the issue as it would imply that the connectors were made 'backwards'.

    OP- Are the halo lights supposed to come on like the DRLs on stock lights? If so, plug in your original lights and verify that they work correctly. If they do, then there is an issue with the new lights. If they don't then the issue is with the truck or you don't understand how they work.

    Funny story: when I first got my truck I put the light switch on 'auto' but the LED DRLs wouldn't come on. I figured there was something wrong with them and was planning to take it back to the dealership. Fortunately I was parked in front of a big window and when I put the truck in reverse (or drive to pull away; can't remember now), they came on. Turns out the trans needed to shift out of park for them to turn on.
