I knew it would fit because you guys told me so. Easy install using a floor jacks assistance. All holes lined up because it’s a factory part. Ground clearance increased from 10” to 10.5”F62BDF8B-4137-4DDB-98D5-53C782373151.jpg
The driveway oil spots are from my kid’s car, affectionately known as the Exxon Valdez. The Taco doesn’t drip a drop.

Nice, do you just end up removing the 2 brackets? Those seemed pretty strong vs the oem skies.

No, the brackets stay. You just take a bolt out of each end which is replaced with a bolt and spacer on the new skid.

Would be interested in hearing more about the fitment of this on a 2nd gen. Would love to have this on my 09. What does and doesn't fit, since toyota says only for 16+?

It bolts right on. All the holes align. There are two bolts to remove on the braces and the bolts on the skid go there. There is a dealer in Dallas whose web site says 05 thru 18.

And here is my other question, is it as flimsy and cheesy as the other version sold for the 2005 to 2015 Tacoma?

The Pro version is much thicker and stronger.
