Prinsu Roof rack, CaliRaised LED Ditch lights and Light bar.
    Hey all,

I installed my Prinsu roof rack a few days ago, and I bought the 42" Cali Raised Slim LED Light bar to go with it, which came today. I finally got the light bar installed on the rack, and the wiring coming from the light bar only reaches about 2/3rds of the length down the windshield...

I have the wiring harness as well, so I imagined the cable from the light bar would be long enough to reach into the engine bay at least, where I could then just plug and play with the wiring harness.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Did you have to cut the connectors off the light bar and wiring harness and just wiring them together on their own? Or is there another solution?

On an unrelated note, while reinstalling the wind deflector of my Prinsu with the light bar, I overtightened one of the four bolts holding the wind deflector to the rack. Half the bolt is stuck inside the tubing on the rear of the wind deflector... any advice on how to get that out?

    Thanks!

Just build you’re own harness. It’ll look cleaner in the end and fit perfect. You can use better hardware as well.

By "half the bolt" do you mean the bolt head broke off? Sounds like you may need a screw extractor.
I'm curious, how does your 42" Cali Raised fit with the Prinsu? I know Prinsu's cutout is only 42", intended for a 40" light bar. Did you have any trouble getting it to fit?

Yeah, so far I've just left it but I may look into a screw extractor. Yes, the CaliRaised is 42" but the 40" cutout on the prinsu is actually more like 43"... so the light bar fits no problem!

Personally, I like building harnesses for lights out with plugs at each end of the run. So I would trim it off at the bar and make a wire with plugs that runs from the engine bay to the new end on the light bar. That way any changes are easy and repairs are easy to track down.
