hi all, I’m a newbie to Tacoma’s and a newbie to lights so sorry if this comes off a bit dumb. I have a 2018 PRO, and I really don’t like that the stock low beams don’t match the DRL. From what I’ve read on this forum HIDs bounce, and LEDs aren’t meant to fit in the factory housing. I would like to upgrade my low beams to match my DRL (about 5500k) and I don’t necessarily care about light output. I drove mostly in town and the stock light output is ok with me. Is there a way i Can replace my current bulbs with similar bulbs with a temperature that matches my DRL? Again sorry if this is a silly question. Still trying to learn all this. I’ve read around 2 dozen posts already but haven’t found a clear answer. Thank you.

Ultra whites look less yellow than the factory halogens.

I had HID's that bounced, and shitty LED's on my 16' and ended up reverting back to stock.

If I did it again, I'd run Silvania Sivlerstar ultras. They are much whiter than stock and closer to the LED colour of the DRLs

Cons to Silverstar ultra is they can burn connectors and they have a short live span due to the heat. But if you don't run the headlights 24/7 like some trucks do they can last a long time.
