@irayfz6, I landed on a German radio station called "Hamburger LokalRadio" on 6190 kHz. I'm honestly diggin' the classical music they're playing.

 

At 4625 kHz, is a yodeling station, my guess is that they're in the Bavarian Alps in Germany. Really dig that yodel culture.

Edit: Now, they're playing the song "Heart aches by the number." That's a song that would always appear on the Sirius XM 1950's channel.

Edit: 6285 kHz is an English radio station on the island of Tenerife in Spain.

I had the Sedan DeVille 1971 . It had a 472 big block . It was 10 years old when I bought it ,just over 100000 miles on the clock and paid $100 from the dealership I worked at . 3 months later it was practically upside down ( on its side ) in a large ditch with me drunk behind the wheel .

 

Just kidding.. actually

 

It wasn't anything bad, they were just shoved onto the scorching pavement.

Also, you might try a web search to see if there is a club closer to you. My local club didn’t come up on the ARRL search, because they don’t do open tests. But if you go their website or Facebook page, they will do testing at their monthly meeting if you call ahead of time and ask.

 

These European stations are all playing country music for some reason. The one in Bavaria, Germany played "When Did You Stop Loving Me" by George Strait.

I checked, there's nothing in McAllen.

 

I didn’t play with it much, but it looks cool. I will check it out more later.
