You should be good with stock UCA at 2” of lift.

Yeah what he said... I’m on stock UCAs with 2 1/4 inches of lift no issues.

Pretty sure the medium kit is 888s in the front which is going to lift you 2.5"-2.75". Some guys run stock UCAs for that much lift but you'll gain more droop with aftermarket UCAs and potentially solve any issues that may or may not arise with alignment. That's my understanding

I just did this lift on my 2018 Off Road and ended up with 2.25 lift in front on 888's and kept original UCAs. Still able to get into alignment specs and drives great. You should be ok.

Did you do the ECGS bushing, and that seems low for 888s. Are you a long bed (do they make offroads in long bed, maybe not)?

Hmmm, yea a few variables....The 2.25 is at the hub to fender. I also went from 16 inch rims to 17in with 275/70/17 KO2s, so overall the actual lift height from stock is more, about another inch.

I do have a long bed, but I don't have any added weight in the front such as a bumper or winch, so in my experience this is what you are going to get with 888s.

And yes, at only 5000 miles on the truck, I went ahead and did the ECGS as a precaution. I bought the part and Wheelers installed it for free as part of my package.

    They make longbed ORs.

    887s
    3 leaf AAL

You can go with factory UCAs at that height but aftermarket UCAs make alignments easier.

I added SPC UCAs when I went from 885s to 887s because I was getting some uneven tire wear even though alignment was in spec. The front had a bit too much toe in causing more outer wear on the tires and it looked a little pigeontoed when viewed from the front.

It drove fine but the look and wear bothered me enough to change out the UCAs after 18 months.

I ran 887s on 5100s for about 2.25" of lift. Stock UCAs, all alignment measurements in spec, caster was 1.8 degrees though. If you like how it drives then you're good.
