I mounted the driver's side mount on my truck to run my Firestik antenna, but after having trouble getting a decent ground plane, I gave up on it. The passenger side has never been mounted on the truck. I had to widen the slot to run the antenna lug stud and accidentally widened the passenger side first. I touched up the passenger side and the driver side after drilling, but the touch-up paint did wear away on the driver's side as seen in photos.
