    Finally installed everything last weekend.

    Synopsis.

I wish I had done more research. I had called maxtrac and icon and asked what hardware was needed.

Maxtrac sent out a full hardware kit free of charge (badass CS right there). I paid icon to send me the 8 washers but nothing else. Turns out that 9/16x18 in grade 8 is hard to find on a Saturday evening. I guess I wasnt clear that I literally had nothing and didnt know what I was missing but whatever. I found some. Just would've been nice if they told me the stock nut wouldnt fit.

Install was pretty straight forward for the uca and spindles. My drivers side brakelines were frozen together. Stripped the head on the hard line and couldnt get them removed. I ended up just removing a few tabs, bending out the hard lines more and zip-tying the soft lines to the spindle with enough slack so they wouldnt bind in full cycle. I will be addressing this issue in the near future and replumbing the entire front brake system from the hard 90s toward the caliper in SS. But for now they function, dont leak, and are not in danger of binding.
The polyurethane bushings for the icons were dry and had a horrible groan. I put a tube of grease through them, seemed to help for a day, but it looks like the zerk fittings may be leaking. The sound sort of came back at the end of the day, just another issue I'll have to address, possible when the brakes are redone. Luckily zerks are cheap.

The rear dakars are stiff. I'll be pulling the AAL this weekend if the weather permits. Also want to cycle the rear suspension as I noticed the 5160 shocks were about 2" shy of the lower mounts with the leaves fully drooped. I would imagine a limiting strap may be in order but for now, as I'm not wheeling it, it'll be fine. Also want to verify the brakelines are not in danger of being overextended on full shock (limited) droop.

After a driveway alignment I drove it over and purchased the Firestone lifetime alignment package. Glad I did because after leaving I noticed the wheel was off about 10°. Sunday afternoon and I was completely burnt out so just another thing I'll get around to addressing.

Didnt get a CB drop kit. But, definitely getting one this week.
Also need to do the VSC reset but something about shoving a wire into my OBD2 and intentionally shorting it out just makes my skin crawl.

All in all I'm glad with the results. Looks better, tires dont rub anymore. Did notice a small drop in mpg though. Could be unrelated but lost about 1-2mpg from this tank. Definitely think the shock package is better than stock, but still not what im looking for. Probably drink the kool-aid and go kings at some point.

Chimay and a burger to reward the shitshow
    Carry on.

As of 3-16-19 the taco has passed away. Meeting with my adjuster today to go over the details. Probably annoying by now but still just shocked about how fast it all happened and the damage we received. Long story short, towing a trailer and utv, lady tried to thread the needle and turned left in front of us, we couldnt even slow down in time. Less than 5 min from being safe at home.
