    damn that's a beauty, surprised no one has really even commented on this yet. 79k miles on a '96 is incredibly low.

    I know you said the frame has no rust, but some pics of the underside will help I think

    Yea I agree...I'll be up at my vacation house to pull it out of garage and take frame pics next week. Totally a must with these trucks. Figured I'd throw it up for sale in the meantime.

    Previous owner sprayed black undercoat. Not sure why that was done being truck lived entire life in Wilmington NC with no salt, but from what I was told, previous owner was an older man who babied the truck so makes sense.

    I really hate to say this because I’d rather this not be jacked up at a dealer but carmax gives great cash for unique vehicles. I sold an mint 08 ranger single cab 2wd auto to them for $12800 and paid less than that from a dealer. Just food for thought! Something like this deserves the price tag, GLWS

    Never thought of that...would hate to do it as well. Always figured they'd screw you. However, I did sell my 2015 4Runner to Carvana over the summer and they paid just about what I was hoping for. $28,864 for 2015 Trail Premium, scratched front bumper, new tires, needed new brakes and in good shape and 53k miles.
