So, a buddy and mine wanted to go back country camping in mid February. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to go? I Just moved to Utah from Virginia, but I think I would be willing to drive pretty damn far to camp and hike somewhere really beautiful. I think a lot of the national parks in Utah would be nice, Pending the government shutdown and how crowded they might or might not be, but I was just wondering what y'all would suggest.

I kinda miss seeing tree's and rivers, I live in a desert. I was considering the redwood forest in California, Or crater lake in Oregon. But I am open to suggestions.
