So i want to upgrade my low beams and high beams and possibly my fogs. I like the colour of the daytime running lights and want them all to match. I heard i would have to get h11, is that right? Also I heard that LED's dont work for low beams so i have to get HID?
Anyone have any recommendations? I don't want to spend $100 for just one set of lights. I'm also in Canada so its more expensive up here

I also want to know this answer. I’m trying to match the running light as well.

If you have projector housings for your low beams, LED's should work just fine assuming you get a decent set. I have a set of these on my truck:

I haven't had any issues yet (had em for a few months).

There is a very long thread on both type of lighting if you use the search function.

Thanks for all the info. Just from reading it seems like HID’s are the way to go h11 to match. Can anyone recommend one tho? The ones listed are still pretty expensive

LEDs will work for low beam. A buddy of mine has some in his 16. They're pretty nice, but wont perform as well as HID due to the LED bulbs not being true 360* output. BUT LEDs are instant on. He also has a pair in his high beams as well.

Did you see the link I posted earlier above? It isn’t going to matter which LEDs, the light source is wrong for the housing. Lots of people think these work great initially because there is lots of short range flood light, not realizing they now lost their distance projection which is the primary purpose of the headlight. The post I referenced covers it in more detail.
