Why not? I've used vacuum bleeders in the past on clutches and never had an issue.

I've used them on our long gone V70 and my Ducati. But times, it lost all pressure and took a half hour of pumping and bleeding to get them happy again. No air got in, just the vaccum pull on the slave.

Trust me, it is too easy to do either with gravity or with a helper.

You don't need it. I had my wife pump and hold the clutch while I release the bleeder valve. Took 3 tries and less than few mins to bleed the system.

So the AV Tune is good to go for now or should I wait to purchase/install until new version comes out?

Once all the A/T idle problem tickets are taken care of. That's all we know at this point.

WTF does the Bulleydog even do? It looks like a glorified OBD code reader and gauge pod.

I bought the kit to bypass the accumulator. Once I got in there I decided to go a different direction.

I ported the accumulator with a Dremel. Best part for everyone after me, this requires nothing but a Dremel and DOT3.

Feels awesome! Wish I had done this 20k ago.

Thanks for doing this and posting the results ! ....... now if we had an experienced hand that could tell us how this mod compares to the " normal " delete ...... ??? ( Someone would have to try both ? )

    DAMMIT lol.

I still have the accumulator, but I'd have to rig up a new line from it to the slave cylinder (I harvested the OEM fittings from it).

There seems to be more than enough "meat" in the body of that POS to cut a fairly deep channel between the two ports.

My only concern would be getting the whole thing completely free of debris...

    Anyone else wanna try this?
