    Hi all
My 19 Pro has 1500 miles on it. I got some parts in the mail finally. A 7/8” spacer plus the long UCA bolts and I already had the SPC UCAs.
I normally hate spacers and would upgrade to Billy 5100s with some sort of OME coils. But I just paid all this $$$ for a Pro so I decided to bite the bullet and put in a spacer to level out the front from the bumper & Winch Sag.

I bought the long UCA bolt and sawzalled the old one out. Then reinstalled the new one from the back. The dealer had told me the cab has to be pulled to do the UCA project but others on here recommended this route. Drivers side is a bit of a PITA but it can be done if you wiggle lines out of the way.

The spacer I used required me to trim about a 1/4” from the top of the upper strut bolts so that they would fit under the strut tower.

To get the strut out you will have to unhook the sway bar from both sides and unbolt the sway bar from the frame on the side you are working on.

Here are some pics at install. I set the ball joints at 4deg caster so it should go down the highway very nice. On my way to the alignment shop this afternoon. 8B10FD62-7BC7-4D2A-BA91-1D3AB45B909A.jpg

Most of us just bend the channel out with pliers.

The reason the bolt goes in the other way is because if the nut comes off this way your UCA bolt and therefore UCA can fall off.

Yeah, quick bend and they typically slide right in.

I had heard that but I used plenty of locktite and my 26” matco ratchet so I doubt it’s going anywhere.

Yup, I used channel locks and bent it out then bent it back in place.
