Being new to snow, what's the max speed I can shift into and out of four wheel drive, and what's a reasonable top speed in four wheel drive???

Right around 60mph is the fastest speed the computer will allow you to shift in or out of 4HI. There is no mechanical max speed while in 4HI, just drive at a safe speed for the conditions.

Its 62 mph. anything higher than that it won't engage 4hi. honestly though, if you need 4WD, you shouldn't be going anywhere near that fast. At least on public roads.

I'm gonna suggest you read your owner's manual, and the vehicle placards found on the sun visors. That'll save us the time of quoting them.

Additionally, for 4Lo, you'll need to stop (auto) or be under 2 mph with the clutch in (manual).
