How to throw away/recycle subs and amps

Hey everyone, i could never find a proper way to recycle my amp and i figured sense u have parts that are recyclable but someone told me to just toss it in the garbage. Now i have a old sub and box that needs to be tossed, what should i do?

Throw the sub away and give someone the box or sell it

 

There's an e-waste bin at your local recycle center.

 

The box is a old boston 12 racecar track shape they went out biz

 

Best Buy will take the electronics and speakers. They recycle tons of stuff. The box can go in the trash

 

Side of the road with free sign. It will be gone before you turn your back.

 

Watch them take it home and realize it dont work..pissed lol

 

We used to do it with broken TV's... Just cut the power cord and people think it works and all they need to do is replace the cable, then they think they didn't repair it right when it still doesn't work.
