Spotted. Never thought I would say it, but damn, the truck is starting to get where I wanted it to be when I first started building it.

I test drove a tundra, Tacoma and 4runner. As a family unit we settled on the space and utility of the 4 runner, plus the ride is far smoother than my 2nd gen and significantly smoother than the 2 trucks.

Plus I got a killer deal on this guy, dealership to put in the pro suspension next month for $1300 including labor:burnrubber:

    Nice!

We were between a T4R limited model or a GX 460. We got a screaming deal on the Lexus or else there’d be a runner in the garage right now.

Today was a fun one it makes it a month since I asked my best friend and soulmate to marry me and I got a tattoo for my mom “momma bear”. We love the mountains so it just kinda fit. She loves it

    Popcorn sucks!!!!
If your house is old enough the popcorn could have asbestos in it. So be aware of that.

I’d love to do this, I was kinda worried how much finishing the builder did under the popcorn. I’d hate to start scraping and realize I’ll have to mud and sand all these ceilings before I even paint.

That’s the whole point of the popcorn, so they don’t have to finish it smooth.
Some are better than others, few will get away will little finish work.

I just painted over the popcorn, gotta be careful doing it, but it looks ok with flat ceiling paint, except that one spot that coffee made it to the ceiling :annoyed:o_O

I have been contemplating doing the same, good work! Just finished putting hanging storage in the garage last night to allow room for the truck and car (had just been the truck in the garage before).

Sliding the stud finder across the popcorn ceiling in the garage was so frustrating - constantly getting popcorn in the eyes.

That’s what I’ve always heard. If it was remove, minor touch ups then paint I might consider it but not wanting that big of a project right now.
