I've been searching threads for over an hour now and I've gained no new insight. It's always the same two places, under the front seats or behind the back seats (3rd Gen, double cab BTW), but I can't/don't want to use those locations. If there are other threads that I missed then by all means, let the 4chanesque derogatory retorts commence, just make sure you tag those threads please.
Now over the past year I've been doing audio upgrades here and there myself, except the head unit which I didn't do, but I think this amp is going to be the final stroke of my masterpiece. I'm super excited about every aspect of my stereo and I laugh (but also shudder) when I consider my only previous experience with car audio was 17 years ago when put two 10 inch subs WITHOUT AN AMP in the trunk of my first car and thought I was hot shit. Oh stupid youth. If anyone is still reading at this point then you need to start running. Get out now before it's too late! Self gratifying current setup explanation starting in three..twoo...ONE!
Alpine everything baby! Which all started with the iLX-107 because I'm an Apple prostitute and I didn't know the qi charger in my truck was going to suck as much as it does. Then I swapped the factory tweeters for Alpine Type R tweeters. As it turns out, you can buy component speakers from Alpine which consist of the woofer and the tweeter together. You can also buy just the tweeters from Alpine, but you cannot buy just the woofer. So up front I have TWO pairs or Type R tweeters and one pair of 6.5 Type R woofers. In the back I've got one pair of 6.5 Type R coaxial, I also put an Alpine PWE-S8 powered subwoofer under each of the front seats. Hence why an amp can't go in that location and as for the other spot, I just don't want to lose any storage space. I had a small Polk amp that a friend had given me installed next to the steering column for the components, but it was much smaller than Alpine. I also ran all new speaker wire for everything today and Noicoed the whole cab. Now that I think about it, the only remaining stereo feature is going to be the rain antenna that I don't even use.
WHOO! I'm pumped! So please, if you know the secret spot that will fit this amp, that isn't much larger than the A4 paper it is perched on and at a mere two inches tall, I promise to only tell anybody that asks me. All I know is this, tomorrow I'm either going to be doing a 3rd Gen teardown looking for this mystery mounting spot or I'm going to be getting freaking crazy with some frequencies! While both of those things have to happen only one of them sounds like work! I look forward to hearing from you. Have an amazing 2019, keep your Taco spicy, and don't forget about random acts of kindness.

You could strap the amplifier to the back of the front seat or hide it behind the gas pedal. How many places do you think there are to put an amplifier? Under the front seats and behind the back wall is quite a lot of your usable surface area.

What other flat surfaces are there in the truck that don't need to be able to hold people, they're insulated from harsh environment & is available to put a bit box?

Some people have managed to fit them in the storage bin under the rear seats, but idk about 3rd gen.

Behind the Qi charger I saw some possibly manageable space behind the glovebox. Those are what I’m going to check first. With as many random DIY projects that I’ve seen on here I was kinda anticipating more responses.

There's just not much space if you want to hide the amp & retain a factory look. I did the back wall instead of under the seat because I didn't want all the gunk & spills getting near my amps. I cant tell how big your amp is in the picture, but it looks too big to hide in the dash.

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.
    Mostly Zip-Ties
Just zip-tie it under the the truck in a trash bag. Out of sight, out of mind.

My 5-channel fit nicely under the driver's seat. Out of sight, out of mind...

If you want to do some serious modifications, you could make a smallish amp fit where your console storage is.

The last remaining spot is under the rear seats in the storage area and you have the wrong amp for that.
