    For under 10k I will stay away from European brands (even new I will not buy european), I will take a look at the subaru Forester as well, these are fun to drive to and can take some abuse.

    I'm with you. Don't trust the european stuff unless there is a warranty. We like Foresters, also Subaru is a good company overall

    I'd find the lowest mile Matrix or Honda Fit if i wanted a wagon......Good Luck finding a IS wagon. They were rare new.
