    I need to lower my factory installed running boards on 2018 Tacoma two inches. Any suggestions?

    Maybe look into a different set of running boards with lower steps. Check craigslist and Facebook marketplace for good deals.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Pictures of current units needed. They may not be 'factory', they may be dealer add ons.

    Shall we assume you don't off road, so durability from hitting things is not an issue? And that you don't plan to level, level lift or lift the truck? Or add big tires? All of which will raise everything, including the running boards.

    Assuming you need this 2" to accommodate someone stepping up and into the cab?

    Maybe something like this? Not my truck, and just pointing out the N Fab steps.
