Thanks. I just installed mine as well with the same AAL w/o the overload and my front is about 1/2" higher than the rear. Front are set to 4/3 clips. I'm hoping the front settles some to bring it down a bit.
The sloped driveway makes it look even more so.

 

Yeah, I’d anticipate that half inch settling out in the first 500miles. I’ve got about 2k miles on mine now. Didn’t settle mucb more than the initial drop.

Just reread and saw you don’t have the overload in. If you’re a prerunner you’ll probably need to drop to 2/3 or put in the overload to get some rake.

 

What size tires are those?

 

These are 265/75/16

 

did you keep stock UCAs? how did your alignment go and can the coil bottom out or does the UCA hit first?

 

Just added spcs this past weekend.
The alignment with the stock came out within toyota specs. I don’t know the exact numbers.

 

and no issue with limiting suspension travel? hows the improvement with the SPCs? I have the 6112s and 5160s in the garage waiting to be installed. can't wait

 

Not that I experienced no. The spcs definitely help with stability and maneuverability. And highly recommended if going larger than 270 tire unless you want to chop the body mount.

I would’ve have stayed with the stock ones longer if I hadn’t found a great deal from another member.

 

On settling, mine settled about 1/2" within the first week and another 1/4" or so within a few months after that. Immediately after installation I had 2.5" at #3. When I made the drive home I was at 2". Within a few months after that I was at ~1.75" of lift which is right where #3 should be per Bilstein's documentation.

 

Thanks. My truck is 4x. I'm hoping for a little settling, but if not, like you said I'll throw the overload leaf back in there to get another 1/2" in the rear.

Thanks for the feedback as well. I'll probably just wait a while before I mess with anything to see if I get the same amount of settling that you did.

 

Does anyone know where to get a replacement resi mount for one of the rear shocks? When installing mine, one side didn't thread in well and I ended up with a snapped pinch bolt.

I remember we did our installs pretty close in time to one another. I believe I remember chatting with you some time back about the height/clip setting.. Interesting how yours settled a little more. Mine are still at 2" lift though I do have a Access cab & 6spd vs your DC Auto.. Hmm, Interesting.

 

Yeah I guess so. I did a quick search, but all I found were the mounts to piggyback it onto the shock body like

My right rear didn't thread well either, had to re-thread the hole, but my bit wasn't long enough to go all the way through, added a washer and got it tight
