Anyone happen to know what the CPS sensor PN is? Going to swap mine out as I want to run 1.05, but the surging at low RPM is concerning.

How many miles do you have on this 1.05 87 since you flashed?

Ticking is not the pump it’s the injectors. The fuel pump chirp sounds like squeaky crickets.

The injectors are infamous on Tacomas for “clicking”

So after the issues I experienced with93/91 1.05 I flashed to 1.05 87 and WOW. This is what everyone is talking about! It’s crazy how everyone’s truck runs better or worse on different tunes and octanes!
The truck has great throttle response, it pulls from 1100rpm and up! Since I just tuned I haven’t had it above 3500rpm yet going to let the 1’s and 0’s burn in a little first.

You can reset that light on your dash (above steering wheel) by scrolling over to the gear icon and clicking reset

Yes. You can use it for this. However, the TPMS computer only accepts 4 sensor IDs, so if you have one in your spare (5 tire rotation), then you’ll have to reprogram each time.

Don’t want to bother Mat with this question and I’ve tried looking for this, but...

My truck now has an idle surge, pretty pronounced too! I downloaded and installed 1.05 91 as soon as it was released on the 29th.

Question for anyone... Is the current version on 1.05 from Mat’s website the latest, with the idle surge fix? Or do I need to submit a ticket?

Yep, there is a fix, create a ticket and he'll send it to you.

Has the “surge corrected 105” been handed out to any open tickets yet? I opened a ticket on Saturday.

Honestly, I’m not sure which 105 I’m on. I flashed the version that first came out. Then, I believe a second version was made with a change to the 1-2 shift... and I thought an idle surge correction. Is there a third one that is being handed out based on open tickets?

I might flash back to the original 105 if I still have the issue after my second tank.

I never gave the original 105 a chance because I figured the second was fixing a potential problem. Who knows... maybe the first 105 works better on my truck.

Yeah 3rd with idle correction is a ticket.
    It was for 2 ECUs.
One was 04B04, which I have...not remembering the other one, sorry.

So I'm running 1.05 91 and I developed a slight rattle in the dash, will custom tuning fix this or do I need a new truck?

Ok, maybe Mat’s response is inbound. I’ll be patent and maybe try to flash the original 105 and see if it makes a difference
